We bring stories to life and turn learning into a game. From festive workshops to interactive storytelling, our library is where curiosity meets community in Malleshpalya.

A glimpse into our Kamishibai storytelling session, a traditional Japanese art form that captivates children. The wide-eyed wonder on their faces says it all!

The joy of story time! Look at the smiles on these little faces as they get lost in a magical tale. These sessions are designed to be interactive, fun, and memorable for everyone.

Little hands carefully molding clay during our Ganesha Chaturthi workshop. It’s a beautiful, hands-on way for children to connect with culture and create something they can be proud of.

A young girl proudly displays the Ganesha idol she crafted herself. These workshops are not just about art; they are about creating lasting memories and celebrating traditions together.

Two boys showing off their handmade Ganesha idols. The pride and sense of accomplishment they feel is what makes these community events so special.

We were so blessed to have our members join us for Aayudh Pooja. Seeing the children participate in the ceremony fills our library with so much warmth and light.

Who doesn't love a biscuit party? Our kids had a blast decorating (and eating!) their own biscuit creations. It was a sweet and creative way to have fun together.

About this collection

We don't just read books here; we build, paint, and perform. Whether it is molding clay Ganesha idols for festivals or decorating biscuits during a party, our workshops are designed to get messy and creative. It is about replacing screen time with real life skills and making sure that every child walks out with a handmade treasure and a big smile.

Our approach to storytelling and workshops is rooted in the belief that children learn best when they are fully immersed. We move beyond passive listening with techniques like Kamishibai, a traditional Japanese art form that uses illustrated boards to turn a story into a performance. This makes the narrative visual and helps children engage with the plot in a deeper way.

We also prioritize hands-on learning. When we celebrate festivals like Ganesha Chaturthi or Dussehra, we do so by making things with our hands. Children build their own idols or craft festive decorations, which allows them to connect with traditions through their own creativity rather than just hearing about them. Our biscuit parties and science-based workshops like building seismographs or electric bells serve the same purpose: they transform abstract concepts into tangible experiences.

These sessions are designed for different age groups, ensuring that whether your child is a toddler or a pre-teen, there is something that sparks their interest. Our goal is to create a space in Malleshpalya where kids feel safe to be bold, ask questions, and try new things. By mixing reading challenges with these creative outlets, we help children develop a love for discovery that stays with them long after the workshop ends.

I started this space because I wanted children to find the same magic in books that I did. We have turned our library into a lively hangout for families in Malleshpalya, where we trade screens for stories and quiet reading for the bustle of creative workshops.
