Want to write better? Try this underrated trick: literally copy good writing. Spend 20 minutes rewriting a passage from a book you admire. You'll subconsciously absorb the author's style, rhythm, and voice.

About Quick Writing Tips & Prompts

The biggest barrier to writing is not a lack of talent, but the pressure to be perfect from the very first sentence. In my classes, I teach students to treat writing like a muscle that needs training, not a gift you either have or do not. By starting with just five minutes of 'messy' writing or by copying passages from your favorite books, you strip away the fear of judgment and let your natural voice finally come through.
