About Woodworking Experiences
Most folks walk into our Horamavu warehouse feeling nervous about using power tools but leave with something they built from scratch. You'll spend the day learning the essentials—jigsaws, drills, and sanders—to turn raw pine into your own shelf, bookends, or a unique project piece. We handle the safety and the setup, so you can focus entirely on the building process.
How It Works
We don't do boring theory. This is a gritty, hands-on experience designed for everyone, from absolute beginners to those who want to refine their skills. You walk in, pick your project, and get to work using our industrial-grade power tools. Our mentors are there to guide you through measurements, cutting, joining, and finishing.
What You Will Learn
By the end of a single session, you will get comfortable with:
- Tool Safety & Handling: Getting familiar with jigsaws, bench sanders, and drills.
- Design & Planning: Learning how to take an idea and turn it into a physical structure.
- Material Selection: Understanding the difference between Pine, Teak, and Beech, and why specific joints work better than others.
- Finishing: Sanding up to 2000 grit to make your project feel smooth to the touch.
