Ditch the screen time for real-world skills. Our maker programs get students aged 7-16 woodworking, designing, and building functional projects that teach them how the world actually works.

The future will be built by those who can make. Here, young students are learning patience, problem-solving, and the satisfaction of creating something with their own hands.

A mentor guides students through using a power drill safely. Our workshops provide a supportive environment where kids learn real-world skills and build confidence.

We're skilling up the next generation. Our programs are about more than just the final product; they're about understanding the patience, math, and design decisions that go into making anything.

Meet 14-year-old Devin, three weeks into our Maker School program. He's already built a pencil stand and is now learning joinery to build a table for his room. We love seeing our students progress and take on bigger projects.

This 9th grader is using her school project time to build a toy set for her 6-month-old sister. It's amazing to see students apply their new skills in such a personal and thoughtful way.

Students from Canadian International School designed and built these custom robot pen stands. Our school programs are all about experiential learning and bringing creative ideas to life.

Woodworking is a fantastic tool for STEM learning. We ran a one-day program in Mangalore where students collaborated to build a giant tangram table, applying math and engineering concepts in a hands-on way.

Collaboration is key. Students work together on their section of the Tangram Table, a group STEAM project that teaches teamwork and practical building skills.

An epic group shot with the students and their completed Tangram Table. The pride and sense of accomplishment after a day of building is what it's all about.

Students gather around the finished Tangram Table, a puzzle made of seven geometric pieces that they built themselves.

About Maker School for Kids & Teens

We don't do boring theory. At our Horamavu makerspace, your child actually picks up a Japanese saw, uses a drill press, and learns how to measure, cut, and finish a project from scratch. It is messy, it is loud, and it is the most effective way for them to grasp physics and geometry while building items they can actually use, like pencil stands or customized furniture.
