Women’s Boxing Diploma and Pro Training
We’ve built a training path exclusively for women who want to go beyond basic fitness—whether you’re here to master the ring, learn to judge, or become a certified boxing coach.
Dr. Mariya Kikali, a radiation oncologist, spars during a session. She started training with us to stay motivated and now competes in inter-club wars, proving that anyone can learn to fight and finish all three rounds.
We celebrate the success of all our fighters, including Lakshmi, who won a bronze medal in the Elite Women category at the 2022 Interclub Boxing Championships. Our female athletes compete and win at high levels.
This fight poster features our boxer, Veena Solomon, in a co-main event. Our women's program is not just about training; it is about creating opportunities to compete on significant platforms.
We actively promote our female fighters, like Veena Solomon, for competitive events. Our goal is to increase the representation of women in all aspects of professional boxing.
About this collection
This isn't a standard gym class. Our diploma program covers the full technical curriculum—stance, guard, defense—alongside professional officiating skills like judging and refereeing. You’ll be training in a women-only cohort at our St. Francis School facility in Koramangala, with access to structured sparring and the same competitive roadmap as our national-level fighters.
Beyond the Basics
Many boxing classes stop at cardio. We don't. Our 'Box-M' diploma is for women who treat the sport as a craft. Over two years, you move from basic mechanics to ring management. You learn to read a fight, score a match, and hold your own in the ring. This is vocational training—if you are looking to step into the role of a coach, referee, or competitive athlete, this is where you start.
The Training Environment
We train outdoors at St. Francis School grounds in Koramangala. It is raw, honest, and focused. There are no mirrors or air conditioning to distract you. You will be training on cement surfaces with mats, using shared community gear to build resilience. We keep the cohort focused and small, ensuring you get the attention needed to correct your form and build the discipline required to stay in the fight.
Why This Program Works
- Practical Skills: You are not just punching; you are learning how to officiate and shadow-judge bouts.
- Supportive Cohort: The women-only batch provides a space to train without the hesitation often felt in mixed environments.
- Competitive Pathway: If you have the drive, we provide the platform. Our students compete in local and national inter-club championships, gaining the ring time that actually counts.
Whether you are a complete beginner or an athlete looking to transition into a coaching role, this course provides the structure you need. Bring your commitment, and we will handle the rest.
The School of Martial Arts
I’m Ashwin, and after 26 years of fighting and coaching, I’ve seen firsthand how boxing changes lives. We don’t treat women’s boxing as a sideshow; we treat it with the same technical rigour and competitive ambition as any pro sport. Come train with us if you’re serious about putting in the work.
