About Unique Succulents & Cacti

The biggest mistake people make with these plants is overwatering. Mitti sukh jaye tabhi pani dena (Water only when the soil is completely dry). These plants store moisture in their leaves, so they actually prefer a bit of neglect over too much care. Whether you want a spiky cactus or a soft succulent, just check the soil before you reach for the watering can.

Succulents and cacti are the ultimate survivors. They are perfect for Delhi apartments because they love sunny spots like balconies or windowsills. I have everything from the lucky Jade Plant—which looks amazing like a bonsai—to the quirky Fairy Castle cactus. If you are starting out, the Haworthia (Zebra plant) or simple Money Plant varieties are great for desks. For a more dramatic look, the Euphorbia Trigona is a fast-growing favorite.

Care is straightforward. In summer, you might water once a week, but in winter, they can go weeks without a drop. Ensure your pot has a drainage hole—this is non-negotiable. If you are unsure about the light, place them where they get indirect bright sunlight. Direct, harsh afternoon sun in Delhi can sometimes burn them, so keep an eye on how they react to their location.

You don't have to guess. When you order, I will send specific care tips along with the plant. If you ever see a leaf turning yellow or feel it getting squishy, send me a photo on WhatsApp. I am always around to help you save your plant.
