About From My Nursery
You might wonder why my plants are tough enough for local balconies. It is because I do not keep them in fancy, pampered greenhouses. I let them harden in open nursery conditions first, so they are already used to the Delhi NCR weather by the time they reach your home.
I started The Plants Guru because I believe everyone should have a piece of nature nearby. Whether you are looking for low-maintenance Snake Plants for your bedroom or fragrant herbs like Rosemary for your kitchen, I make sure the plant is ready for your specific space.
How I Prep My Plants
Every paudha (plant) goes through a strict inspection before it leaves my nursery in Nehru Nagar. If a plant has a weak root system or isn't healthy, it simply doesn't get shipped. I also make sure the soil mix—a blend of manure and cocopeat—is tailored for our local climate, not some generic mix that dries up in two days.
Delivery and Care
I deliver across Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, and Ghaziabad. When you order, I pack them carefully with newspaper and cardboard to prevent soil spillage. Once they arrive, my job isn't done. If you feel your plant is acting differently, just send me a message. I always recommend the finger dip test for watering—mitti sukh jaye tabhi pani dena (water only when the soil feels dry). It is the simplest trick to keep your plants happy and green for a long time.
