About A Glimpse Behind The Magic
A lot of people ask me if these shots are heavily posed. The truth is we don't. The magic you see in these frames comes from simply being yourselves, whether you are walking on the ECR beach, laughing with your partner, or adjusting that gown. My lighting assistant and I handle the technical setup so you can focus on the moment, whether it is a 5:30 AM golden hour start or a relaxed afternoon studio session.
The process starts long before the camera clicks. We usually hop on a quick call to talk about your vibe, your wardrobe, and the kind of memories you want to keep. If you choose an outdoor session, we rely entirely on the natural light, which is why we stick to sunrise or sunset. It might mean an early start, but the soft, golden light is worth the effort for those dreamy portraits.
For studio setups, I bring the props and the lights while you bring the energy. My lighting assistant is always there to handle the reflectors and strobes, which gives me the freedom to move around and catch the candid laughter and those quiet, intimate connections.
After the shoot, the work really begins. Every image you receive undergoes my signature retouching process, where I enhance the tones, smoothen the skin, and clean up the background to ensure the final frame looks as magical as it felt on the day. We aim to keep it simple, honest, and entirely about your family's unique story here in Chennai.
