When you look through this collection, you will see a divide in my approach. My maternity sessions happen in a controlled, minimalist studio to keep the focus entirely on you, while my family sessions are intentionally unscripted, taking place in your own home where you are most comfortable.
My work stems from a simple belief: the best images happen when you forget the camera is there.
The Maternity Studio Approach
For maternity sessions, I opt for a controlled environment in my Bangalore studio. By using simple backgrounds and deliberate lighting, I remove the clutter. The focus stays on the texture of the skin, the curve of the baby bump, and the connection with your partner. These sessions are about creating a clean, modern aesthetic that feels timeless rather than trendy.
In-Home Family Photography
Family life is rarely perfect, and that is exactly what I want to capture. I prefer coming to your home for family and newborn sessions. There is no posing on a white backdrop here. Instead, we work around your furniture and your daily rhythm. Whether it is a quiet moment in the corner of a room or the chaotic energy of siblings playing, I am looking for the truth in those interactions. I shoot these sessions primarily in black and white because it strips away distractions, forcing you to focus entirely on the emotion and the energy of the moment.
How I Work
If you book a session, we spend time talking about the vibe you want. I provide guidance on angles and light, but I do not dictate how you should smile. We work together to tell your story, whether it is a single session or a 'Bump to Baby' chronicle. My goal is to deliver images that act as a memory, not just a photograph.
