We believe music is a journey for the whole family. Whether you are picking up an instrument for the first time or returning to a forgotten passion, we provide the community, structure, and guidance to help you find your sound.

Welcome to The Music Gurukul family! This is what it's all about: students of all ages, our dedicated teachers, and proud parents coming together to celebrate the joy of music at one of our student concerts.

I wanted to share my thoughts on how to begin your musical journey. It’s a process that requires patience and discipline, but the rewards, from building confidence to finding a new way to express yourself, are immeasurable.

Seeing my students shine on stage is the greatest reward. Here's our Rockstar Ayaan performing a prize-winning rendition of Bon Jovi's "Livin' on a Prayer" at an inter-school competition, showcasing his skill on the electric guitar.

It is never too late to start learning. I am incredibly proud of our senior students who embrace the challenge of learning an instrument like the keyboard, proving that music is a lifelong journey.

The rhythm of India is taught in our tabla classes. Here, students of different generations learn the intricate 'bols' and techniques of this classical percussion instrument together in a group setting.

Meet Teesta, one of our dedicated drum students, as she prepares for her Trinity Rock & Pop exams. Her focus and energy are a perfect example of the discipline we nurture in all our Rockstars.

The journey of music often starts as a family. I love seeing parents get involved, like this beautiful moment of a father sharing his love for the guitar with his child, creating memories that last a lifetime.

This is our 'Musical Saturday' in action. It's an informal jam session where students get to perform for their peers and parents, building stage confidence in a supportive and relaxed environment.

We provide a clear path for students who want formal certification. This Trinity College London certificate, awarded to our student Riaan for distinction in Grade 1 Drums, is a testament to his hard work and our structured curriculum.

Our team of teachers isn't just here to instruct; we are passionate musicians ourselves. Here is a glimpse of our coaches jamming on a fusion piece, blending Hindustani vocals with djembe and acoustic guitar.

About Featured

Learning an instrument is about more than just attending a class. At The Music Gurukul, we focus on building habits that last a lifetime, which we call 'roz ka riyaaz' or daily practice. When you join us, you are not just signing up for lessons. You are joining a community where you will perform, learn alongside peers, and receive guidance from coaches who are passionate performers themselves.
