Interactive Online English and Phonics Classes
We bring the interactive, personal environment of a traditional classroom directly to your screen, using real-time whiteboards and one-on-one guidance to ensure your child stays engaged.
Wondering if online classes are effective? This graphic outlines the key benefits, from saving travel time to providing a disciplined, traditional classroom feel with better learning opportunities.
This is what our digital whiteboard looks like during a phonics lesson on short vowels. Students can see the lesson plan, word lists, and my notes in real-time, making the class structured and easy to follow.
Here is another example of our online teaching materials, this time for the 'long e' sound. We clearly lay out the pronunciation and spelling rules on a shared screen so every student can learn at the same pace.
Our online worksheets are interactive and engaging. In this exercise, a student works on a 'fill in the blanks' task directly on the screen, allowing for immediate feedback and encouragement.
Teaching paragraph writing online is seamless with shared documents. Students can see the task and type their responses while I guide them, creating a collaborative and effective learning environment.
We cover all aspects of the English curriculum online, including practical skills like letter writing. This screenshot shows a lesson on formal and informal writing, demonstrating the breadth of topics we teach.
We use colorful and engaging worksheets in our online classes to keep young learners focused. This picture-based exercise for the short vowel 'a' is a great example of how we make learning fun.
About Our Online Classroom
Parents often worry if online learning feels distant, but our digital classroom is designed to keep kids engaged and focused. Instead of just listening to a lecture, your child interacts with on-screen whiteboards and shared documents, meaning I can guide their writing or spelling corrections in real-time, just like sitting next to them.
Learning at home does not have to mean watching recorded videos. In my online sessions, we maintain the structure of a real classroom while leveraging digital tools to make lessons active.
How We Make Online Learning Work
- Active Participation: We use digital whiteboards where students can type, underline, or solve puzzles, turning passive listening into active doing. If we are covering the 'long e' sound, your child is marking the correct vowels on screen, not just watching me do it.
- Individual Attention: My batches are capped at 5 to 8 students. This is a deliberate choice so I can notice if a child is hesitant to speak or struggling with a specific grammar rule. We stop, address the gap, and use practical tricks until the concept clicks.
- Structured Curriculum: Whether it is phonics foundation for a 5-year-old or creative writing for a Grade 6 student, the material is standardized. We use my 'Phonics Master' methodology, so you get the same quality of instruction as my in-person academy students.
What You Need to Know
- Materials: All worksheets and activity sheets are sent as PDFs beforehand. We keep it simple—you just print them, and we work through them together during class.
- Feedback: I review homework manually via WhatsApp photos. This ensures your child stays on track between sessions, helping us build consistent progress rather than cramming before exams.
We focus on clear logic and foundational strength, which is why we avoid rote learning completely. If your child understands the 'why' behind a sound or a spelling rule, they gain confidence that stays with them long after the class ends.
