About Preschool & Kindergarten Readiness
Why I Do What I Do
I believe kids learn best when they’re happy, curious and not rushed. My goal is to help your child feel confident and ready for big school, but I don’t push them. We keep things fun and light, always tuning in to what works for each child.
What We Actually Do
Ages 3.5 to 5 is prime time for building those basics. Here’s what we cover:
- Early phonics instruction - we play with sounds, letters and words so reading and writing come easy, not stressful. No boring drills, just magnetic letters, worksheets and loads of games.
- Number masti - math is hands-on here, with counting, basic addition, and creative crafts. Kids get to make things like ‘Flower Clocks’ and ‘Mushroom Math Mania’ so numbers feel real, not random.
- Exploring our world - shapes, general knowledge, and simple science. Sometimes we’ll build a ‘Rectangle Robot’ or chat about the moon phases, always linking learning to daily life.
How I Teach
Every kid is different. I give personalized attention and adapt my approach to their style and pace. We learn by play (मस्ती से पढ़ाई - learning with fun) and your child leads the way. If your kid loves animals, we’ll count with animal toys. No rigid rules, just what clicks for them.
How Classes Run
Mostly online, so you save travel time and kids can learn in their own space. Sometimes I offer classroom sessions too. Classes are three times a week, one hour each - enough to keep things moving but not overwhelming. We use daily worksheets and weekly quizzes to keep track, step by step.

My Story
Waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh! We started The Kaur's Academy because teaching is heart work for us, not clock work. Saw how kids struggle with reading, not because they’re not smart, but because teaching misses the mark. That’s why we wrote 'The Phonics Master' and made it our mission to build confident learners. We don’t rush, we build concepts and make learning fun. Ups and downs, we wade through together.

Personalised and Child-Led Learning - We give one-on-one attention. For younger kids, we follow Reggio Emilia inspired learning so they lead their own journey.
No Ratta, Just Smart Tricks - No rote learning here! Vedic maths speed tricks and simple rules make numbers and spelling easy and fun.
Language Focused Classes - Special courses for Phonics, Hindi reading foundation, spoken English. We make sure kids become strong readers and speakers.
Learning by Doing - Hands-on math activities, games, and projects. We believe learning should be active, creative, and always fun.
