This is how an interactive online class looks. I use shared screens with videos and visuals to teach concepts like the phases of the moon, and you can see both me and the student engaged in the lesson.
The digital whiteboard is a powerful tool in my online classes. It allows me to solve complex math and science problems step-by-step, just like on a real board, ensuring the student can follow along easily.

About A Glimpse into Our Online Classroom
We treat our digital screen as a shared whiteboard, not just a lecture slide. During every session, we annotate math problems, break down English grammar rules, and solve worksheets in real-time. This keeps students active and focused, whether they are practicing phonics sounds or working through complex Grade 10 physics derivations.
My online teaching method is built on the belief that learning should be a two-way street. In our live sessions, we avoid passive watching and focus on active participation.
How We Make Online Classes Effective:
- Live Whiteboard Sessions: Just like a classroom, we use a shared board to write out steps, solve equations, and diagram concepts. This allows me to see exactly where a student gets stuck so we can clear the doubt immediately.
- Hinglish Explanations: Language should never be a barrier to understanding a concept. I switch between English and Hindi naturally to ensure the logic behind a topic is bilkul clear before we move on.
- Interactive Worksheets: We share documents during the call to practice grammar, fraction problems, or reading. This allows for instant feedback and correction.
- Visual Aids: For younger learners, especially those following our Reggio Emilia inspired approach, I use colorful digital props and visuals to make abstract concepts easier to visualize.
Whether it is Grade 1 physics board preparation or primary school Hindi reading foundation, the goal remains the same: building a strong, logical foundation. We avoid rote memorization, preferring instead to show students the 'why' behind every answer.
