About

I started out romba lazy and insecure, picked up powerlifting when everyone said I was too old, and just kept at it. My motto? Naalaiku enna varudhunradha naalaiku paathupom. Innaiyoda velaya innaiku pannuvom. (We'll see tomorrow tomorrow. Today’s work, today.)

  • Technique correction for lifts is a big focus. We’ll keep you safe and help you smash plateaus.
  • You’ll always know why we’re doing what we do. I’ll explain the biomechanics, equipment, every little tweak.

My Story

When I started, I was that quiet guy, always doubting myself. Enakku avlo insecurity (had loads of insecurity), especially about my voice and looks—'will anyone listen to me?' Venky, my friend, just laughed and said, 'Machan, you teaching or singing? Nee enna SPB-ya da?' (You think you’re SPB?). So I taught what I knew. At 26, I jumped into powerlifting, even though folks said I was too late. Did it all solo—coach, cheerleader, everything. Coaching became my thing, not for money but to walk with people through tough times. Now, at 31, I’m stronger than ever. If I can do it, you definitely can.
