My Powerlifting Journey: Building Strength Brick by Brick
I started training at 26, when everyone said I was too old to get serious. This isn't about genetics; it is about showing up daily for five years. Here is how I built my strength, brick by brick.
People think getting shredded is the hard part. That takes weeks. The real challenge is building the muscle and strength underneath, which takes years of consistent work.
From football to powerlifting, I've always done it all alone. This journey taught me self-accountability. Victory isn't a moment; it's the daily grind of showing up to beat the person I was yesterday.
About My Journey: Brick by Brick
People often ask about the secret to this level of transformation, but there isn't one. The photos here aren't a six-month flash in the pan; they represent over five years of dedicated, consistent, and sometimes boring work. I didn't start with elite genetics or early training—I started with heavy self-doubt. What you see is the result of applying scientific principles to my own training, day in and day out.
Why There Are No Shortcuts
I see so many '90-day transformations' online, and while they can be a start, they rarely show the reality of long-term physique development. Building muscle density and raw power is a multi-year commitment. When I started, I was that quiet, insecure guy who thought 250kg was impossible. Today, it’s a warm-up.
My Training Philosophy
The work I do with clients is exactly what I did to transform myself. It’s grounded in:
- Biomechanical Integrity: We fix your bar path and leverage points before we chase heavy weight.
- Mindset Over Motivation: Motivation is fleeting. We build discipline that keeps you training even when you don't feel like it.
- Sustainable Programming: No crash diets or brutal, unsustainable training splits. We focus on strength-building phases that actually stick.
What We Do
Whether you're looking for remote powerlifting coaching or in-person technique correction at gyms like Relentless Strength in Domlur or Barbell Therapy in Jakkur, the approach is the same. I don't give generic PDFs. I provide frame-by-frame video analysis and direct feedback on your movement patterns. If you are ready to stop guessing and start building, hit me up.
Hook
I wasn't born strong; I built this from scratch at 26. This cluster is my story of swapping insecurity for raw power, one session at a time. If you’re tired of the shortcuts and ready for the real work, I’m your guy.
