About Behind the Scenes: My Studio & Process
My studio isn't just a place for fresh polish. Whether it's a hectic Sunday or a quiet afternoon, I've designed this space to be your safe spot. It's real life here—we talk, we laugh, and we handle the 'nahi bol payi' (I just couldn't say no) moments when you bring me a wild, complex design and I just can't help but say yes.
Building The Glitter Story was a journey, and I’m so happy to share it with you. What started as an empty space in Gandhi Market, Sion, is now my second home.
I believe nails are therapy. That is why the studio is set up for comfort rather than just efficiency. It is where we share secrets over chai, vent about life, or just enjoy the silence. Whether you are coming in for a simple gel fill or heavy 3D bridal artistry, the environment matters.
I am honest about the chaos that comes with the craft. I have 16 clients on a Sunday, people running late, and sometimes I’m stressed, but that is the reality of the business. You will often see me on my Instagram stories laughing about these moments or showing you the 'before and after' of my work station. This isn't a factory line; it's a personal space where I treat every set of nails like I'm doing my own.
When you come here, expect a real conversation. If you show me a picture of a design and I look stressed, don't worry—I am probably just planning how to make it perfect. I’ve been doing this for over 10 years, and that experience is what helps me handle the tricky chrome applications, the delicate ombrés, and the stone-work that needs to stay put.
