Pool Rules & Best Practices
Keep it clean, keep it fun! Here is how we maintain our 31°C ozonized pool so everyone stays happy and healthy in the water. 🌊
A quick video outlining the basic rules for using our pool, including wearing a swim cap, proper attire, and taking a shower before entering. These steps help us keep the water pristine for everyone.
Here’s a quick reminder on why wearing a swim cap is important. It helps keep hair out of the pool filters, protects your own hair from the water, and is a key part of our hygiene policy.
This video explains our 'Do's and Don'ts' for swimwear. We require nylon or dry-fit clothing because these materials don't absorb excess water or shed fibers that can clog our filtration system.
A quick pre-swim shower is one of the most important rules. It rinses off lotions, sweat, and dirt, which helps us maintain excellent water quality with fewer chemicals.
About Pool Rules & Best Practices
We keep our pool at a constant 31°C with an ozone filtration system, which means we skip the heavy chlorine. To keep it that way, please remember: only nylon or dry-fit swimwear is allowed, no cotton. Before you dive in, a quick shower is mandatory to rinse off lotions and keep the water pristine for everyone.
Why We Have These Rules
Think of our pool as a shared home. Because we use an ozonized filtration system instead of harsh chlorine, the water is much gentler on your skin and hair. Keeping it clean requires a little cooperation from everyone who steps into The Float House in Mulund West.
The Non-Negotiables
- Nylon Only: Please wear dedicated nylon or dry-fit swimwear. Cotton absorbs water, loses structure, and can clog our filters with fibers. Save your cotton tees for the cafe or gym.
- Cap It Up: Swim caps are mandatory for every swimmer. They keep hair out of the circulation system and protect your hair from the water.
- Pre-Swim Rinse: A quick shower is required before you enter the pool. It washes away oils, sweat, and lotions, which helps us maintain that crystal-clear 31°C water without dumping in extra chemicals.
