We used traditional elements like marigold spheres and brass temple-style spires, surrounded by a ring of candles, to create these stunning and culturally rich floor decorations.

About this collection

We believe heritage design is not about clutter, but about intentional choices that anchor the space. For these setups, we often source specific jaali patterns and hand-carved panels that serve as structural art, balancing them with organic elements like jasmine strings and marigold clusters to keep the atmosphere breathing rather than heavy.

Modern Heritage: Our approach to traditional Indian aesthetics is grounded in the belief that culture deserves a refined presentation. We move away from the common crowded decor styles, opting instead for architectural elements that demand attention, such as full-scale backlit jaali partitions or hand-carved peacock panels that ground the venue's visual identity.

The Art of Scent and Light: Heritage design is sensory. We use large quantities of fresh jasmine, often paired with tuberose, to ensure the space carries the authentic scent of a traditional Indian celebration. Lighting is treated as a structural component. Rather than standard floodlights, we use thousands of tea lights arranged in concentric circles around brass temple spires to create a warm, meditative glow that mimics the sanctity of a temple.

What to Expect: When planning a heritage-themed event with us, we look at the venue's existing architecture. If the space is a modern banquet hall, we use ceiling-to-floor velvet masking to strip away the generic look, building a temporary, immersive environment inside. For outdoor venues, we lean into natural framing by using the existing landscape to hang marigold garlands or place installation pieces.

Pro-Tip for Your Planning: If you are drawn to the traditional look, decide early if you want a temple aesthetic (heavy brass, diyas, marigold, deep reds) or a royal palace aesthetic (intricate mirror work, jaalis, ivory and gold palettes). Mixing these often leads to a diluted visual, so picking one anchor point helps us design a cohesive, striking narrative for your reception or sangeet.
