We honor your heritage by blending traditional motifs like Phulkari and Jaapi into contemporary setups. Each celebration is designed to feel deeply personal, respectful, and visually vibrant.

Welcome to a Fun Punjabi Night! I designed this entire space to capture the electrifying energy of Punjab, starting with this custom backdrop and colorful, festive decor that invites everyone to celebrate.

A traditional seating area for a Punjabi-themed event. The charpai is draped with colorful fabrics like Phulkari, and the backdrop is designed to look like the wall of a village home, creating an authentic and rustic feel.

A creative and festive installation for a Punjabi night. A decorated bicycle is adorned with a cascade of flowers and pinwheels, set against a backdrop of vibrant bhangra illustrations.

The small details that create an authentic atmosphere. A wooden camel figurine, a hand-painted box, and traditional woven fans bring the essence of Punjabi culture to this decor setup.

A collection of traditional artifacts, including an antique brass surahi (ewer), that adds a layer of history and authenticity to the Punjabi-themed decor.

A beautiful stage setup for an Assamese Haldi ceremony. I used traditional Gamcha fabrics as drapes and accents to create an elegant and culturally significant backdrop for the couple.

The main stage for the Assamese Haldi, featuring a backdrop decorated with Jaapis (traditional conical hats) and surrounded by vibrant floral arrangements, including sunflowers.

A stunning entrance for an Assamese-themed celebration. The walkway is lined with banana plants and lush floral arrangements, leading to an archway decorated with sunflowers and traditional motifs.

A quick walkthrough of the vibrant and sunny Assamese Haldi decor. From the colorful drapes to the sunflower arrangements and personalized party favors, every detail was designed to create a joyful atmosphere.

A close-up of a decorative Jaapi, a symbol of Assamese culture. I hung these beautifully crafted hats, adorned with flowers, to celebrate the couple's heritage.

About Authentic Cultural Celebrations

When we design a cultural setup, the challenge is always balance. It is not about simply placing traditional props like brass surahis or Gamcha drapes around a venue. We focus on how these elements interact with modern lighting and furniture to ensure the event feels authentic to your roots, rather than looking like a museum exhibit. We carefully coordinate the color palettes of your family’s traditions with our modern floral arrangements so the entire space feels cohesive.

Bringing Your Heritage to Life

Culture is about feeling, not just display. Whether you want the electrifying energy of a Punjabi night or the serene beauty of an Assamese Haldi, we start by understanding what those traditions mean to your family. We use authentic elements—Phulkari textiles, Jaapi hats, or hand-painted regional illustrations—and place them within a high-energy, modern design framework.

Why Our Cultural Decor Stands Out

  • Authenticity with a Twist: We don't just use standard props. We often integrate custom elements, like a painted rickshaw for a photo booth or a 'Bloom Bar' for guests, which keeps the atmosphere playful and interactive.
  • Lighting Matters: Traditional setups often suffer from flat lighting. We use warm LED washes, fairy lights, and strategic spotlighting on artifacts like marigold hangings or brass vessels to make the textures pop, especially during evening functions.
  • The Details: It is the small things that guests notice. From customized foam board welcome signs to hand-woven fans placed on chairs for outdoor ceremonies, we ensure every detail serves a purpose while adding to the aesthetic.

Our Process

  1. Concept: We discuss the specific rituals you want to highlight.
  2. Design: We draft a layout that keeps the flow of the venue natural while maximizing photo opportunities.
  3. Execution: Our team handles the rigging, floral installations, and prop placement. You arrive at a space that feels ready to celebrate.

We have spent over a decade perfecting this blend. Our goal is to take the stress off your shoulders so that when the dhol beats start or the haldi ceremony begins, you are fully present, not worrying about the decor.
