Featured Artworks and Creative Workshops
I do not follow one fixed style because creative freedom is what makes art real. From canvas to clothes, here are some of the pieces and sessions I have loved creating recently.
This mixed media piece is one of my absolute favorites to create and teach. I combine acrylic painting, clay modeling for the 3D koi fish, and knife painting techniques to bring this vibrant lily pond to life. It's a perfect project for anyone who loves texture and wants to try a bit of everything.
Come join one of my texture ocean painting workshops. I guide you step by step to create these beautiful, calming waves using palette knives and texture paste. It's a super fun and relaxing session, perfect for a weekend creative escape.
I believe art should be wearable. Painting my own t-shirt was on my bucket list, and I loved the process so much that I turned it into a workshop. You can come and design your own unique piece of clothing with me.
I love experimenting, and this moon lamp was such a magical project. Using a simple MDF base and texture paste, I recreated the craters of the moon. The final piece with the backlight creates such a stunning, ethereal glow in any room.
This is my take on a traditional Jharokha, inspired by the beautiful architecture of Rajasthan. I love blending vibrant colors with intricate patterns to create a piece that feels both classic and modern. It's a wonderful way to bring a piece of Indian heritage into your home.
Here I am with a finished poppy texture painting. I love how the raised petals give the artwork a 3D effect, making the flowers feel like they are popping right off the canvas. This is a great workshop for learning how to create depth and texture in your art.
Welcome to my studio, my happy place. I decorated our glass doors for Christmas, and it shows how you can use any surface as a canvas. The studio is designed to be a bright, inspiring space for everyone who walks in.
About this collection
When you join a session, leave the stress of buying materials at home. I bring everything from the brushes to the texture paste for every participant. Whether you are a total beginner or someone who has not held a brush since school, my goal is to make sure you have thoda masti (a bit of fun) while you create something meaningful.
My Approach to Art
I truly believe that anyone can make something beautiful with their own hands. I left my corporate job to build a space where the process matters more than the result. My workshops are always changing because I get bored doing the same thing, and I love experimenting with new surfaces.
What You Can Expect
- Texture & Palette Knife Painting: This is one of my favourites. We use modelling paste and knives to create 3D effects, whether it is an ocean wave or a floral design. It is messy, tactile, and incredibly relaxing.
- Canvas & Landscapes: For those who want to learn the basics of acrylic painting, I guide you through blending colours, painting realistic skies, and capturing mountains.
- Functional DIY: Sometimes we paint on T-shirts, tote bags, or even old glass bottles. I want you to make things that you can actually use in your daily life, not just keep on a shelf.
The Workshop Vibe
Whether you visit my studio in Harlur or join a social sip and paint session at a cafe in Bangalore, the vibe is always the same. It is a no-pressure zone. You are there to learn, relax, and surprise yourself. I provide all the materials, from the canvas board to the paints, so you just need to show up. Do not worry about mistakes; we embrace them as part of the learning journey. My goal is for you to walk out feeling proud of your work, even if you thought you could not draw a straight line.
Rimjhim
I left my corporate job to build a space where anyone can just play with colours. I am Rimjhim, and I believe art is for everyone, regardless of skill. Whether we are painting at my studio in Harlur or a cafe in the city, I make sure you leave with a creation you are genuinely proud of.
