You might have noticed the saxophones and dual lead vocals in our clips, because we don't rely on backing tracks. When you book us for a mashup set, you get a full 7-piece band experience with a dedicated sound engineer, ensuring that every transition between a retro classic and a Bollywood banger is tight and crisp.
A good mashup is all about the surprise factor. We love taking an absolute classic like 'Dancing Queen' or 'Does Your Mother Know' and blending it directly into 'Desi Girl' or 'Aaj Ki Raat'. It creates a rhythm that catches people off guard in the best way possible.
Our signature sound comes from our 7-piece lineup. By having drums, bass, keys, guitars, a saxophone, and two vocalists, we aren't limited to one specific genre. We can replicate the nostalgic energy of an 80s disco floor or the intensity of a Bollywood sangeet opener.
Here is how we handle your event:
- Customization: We don't play the same set twice. Before your event, we jump on a call to figure out your 'Must Play' list and, more importantly, your 'Do Not Play' list.
- The Sound: We travel with a dedicated FOH sound engineer. This is non-negotiable for us. It means the vocals sit right in the mix, the sax cuts through, and the bass kicks the way it should, regardless of the venue acoustics.
- The Energy: We aren't a 'background music' band. We are here to lead the party. Whether it is a corporate gala or a friend's wedding reception, our goal is to turn the room into a dance floor by the end of the first set.
The Coalition
We started this band as college friends with a simple goal: make music that makes us want to dance. Now, we are a 7-piece crew of musicians who love a good mashup as much as you do. We don't take ourselves too seriously, but we take our sound very, very seriously.
