About Creative & Themed Setups
These setups are never about rushing for the perfect shot. Whether it is a Harry Potter theme or a tiny chef setup, I bring all the outfits, props, and backdrops to your home or my Malad studio. We move at the baby's pace, prioritizing their sleep and comfort above the theme. You do not need to worry about sourcing props or outfits; I handle every detail so you can just relax.
How I Approach Themed Newborn Shoots
Photography is my way of preserving these fleeting days. When you choose a themed session, we aren't just dressing the baby up; we are creating art that reflects who you are as a family. Because I am a mother myself, my primary focus is always safety. Every pose you see is achieved through training and patience, never through force.
The Process
Most families book me within the 7 to 21-day window. During this time, babies are naturally sleepier and easier to pose. I bring everything required for the session—organic wraps, hand-knit props, and sanitized equipment. If we are doing a themed shoot, we discuss the concept beforehand to ensure the colors and textures align with your vision.
Where We Shoot
- In-Studio: My Malad West studio is a controlled environment designed for newborn safety. It is clean, warm, and stocked with my full collection of props.
- In-Home: I can transform a corner of your home into a professional studio. I travel with all my strobe lighting, bean bags, and themed backgrounds to ensure the same quality as a studio shoot without you needing to travel with a newborn.
Safety First
Every themed setup is constructed with a dedicated safety assistant present. We monitor the baby's breathing and positioning constantly. If the baby is fussy or hungry, we pause immediately. These photos look magical because we take the time to ensure the baby is happy and comfortable first.
