About this collection
Unlike generic camps, our programs run in small batches of 6 to 10 participants. This ensures every student gets hands-on access to our professional heavy-duty etching press. Whether your child is mastering Dry Point or experimenting with collagraph plates, they are working with the same tools professional printmakers use, not plastic toys.
At The Art Room in Nirvana, Sector 50, we believe the best way to learn art is by getting your hands dirty. Our summer camps and specialty workshops move beyond simple crafts to teach genuine techniques in printmaking, bookbinding, and mixed media.
What We Teach
Our curriculum is designed to demystify complex art forms. In our printmaking modules, we cover the full lifecycle of an image—from initial etching on acrylic plates to inking, pressing, and editioning. Students explore diverse methods like:
- Dry Point & Collagraph: Building textured plates and learning the difference between Intaglio and relief printing.
- Paper Pulp Art: A tactile experience where students create sheets from scratch and build 2D relief artworks.
- Artist's Book Making: Learning structural bookbinding to turn mixed-media experiments into a physical, storytelling object.
The Studio Experience
We provide everything, including high-GSM professional papers, etching needles, carving gouges, and studio aprons. We want our space in Gurugram to feel like a hub of creative chaos where participants aren't afraid to make mistakes. Whether it is a 5-day intensive printmaking camp for kids or a weekend workshop for adults, our goal is the same: to help you find your creative voice.
We limit our batch sizes to ensure each student receives direct mentorship from our teaching artists. You do not need an art degree or fancy skills to join—just bring your curiosity.
