Travel & Photo Illustrations
Bring your holiday memories to life by adding a layer of fantasy and hand-drawn magic to your real-life photos.
Here I am in Japan, with the Catbus from 'My Neighbor Totoro' illustrated right onto the street. This is how I combine my love for travel, art, and anime.
Exploring Tokyo in the rain, and of course, I had to illustrate a little Pikachu to keep me company. This photo illustration brings a bit of the Pokémon world into reality.
A throwback to my Japan trip, where I imagined meeting Haku from 'Spirited Away' in the streets of Kyoto. I love adding these fantasy elements to my travel photos.
Strolling across a bridge in Japan with some special company, Anya and Bond from 'Spy x Family'. This is a fun example of my photo illustration work.
Karaoke night in Japan. I couldn't resist adding Jigglypuff and Psyduck to the scene, waiting for their turn to sing.
The vibrant Dotonbori area in Osaka at night. I added a doodle of Tony Tony Chopper from 'One Piece' to complete this iconic view.
Visiting the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Osaka was a dream. I added some cute illustrated magical creatures to this photo in front of Hogwarts castle.
About this collection
I do not use filters or AI presets. I take your favourite travel photos and hand-draw a unique story directly onto them using Procreate. Whether it is bringing a favourite anime character into your city shot or doodling fantasy elements into your beach view, my process adds a personal layer of magic to your real-life memories.
What makes these illustrations special? They capture the feeling behind the photo. When you look back at a vacation picture, you often remember the vibe or the specific mood of that place. My process involves taking those raw, honest shots and adding a layer of playfulness. It might be a Totoro bus waiting for you on a street corner, or underwater fish appearing on a Goa beach.
Since every single line is drawn by hand, there is zero AI involved. I use Procreate to layer these illustrations over your photos, ensuring that the final result looks seamless yet distinctly hand-crafted.
How does it work?
- You share the photo you want me to work on.
- You tell me what kind of fantasy, character, or vibe you want to inject.
- I draw it out, iterate to get it perfect, and send you the high-resolution file.
This is perfect if you want to turn a simple travel memory into a piece of wall art, a unique post for your feed, or just a keepsake that actually feels like you. I work on a 7 to 14-day turnaround for digital pieces to make sure the detail is just right.
