Your Photos, Reimagined: Turn Memories into Custom Digital Art
I take your favorite snapshots—from mountain trips to candid moments—and give them a playful, illustrated twist. Let’s turn your camera roll into something you will actually want to frame.
I love turning my travel memories into art. Here, I took a photo from a recent mountain trip and illustrated over it to capture that perfect 'Pahad and chai' feeling. I can do the same for your favorite photos.
This video shows a glimpse of my process for creating photo illustrations. I import the photograph into Procreate on my iPad and then draw the characters and elements directly onto the image.
A close-up of one of the illustrated characters from my "Pahad and chai" piece. I focus on simple lines and expressions to add a warm, friendly vibe to the original photograph.
Here's a detail of the second character from the mountain scene. My goal with this style of digital art is to enhance the story of the photo, not overshadow it.
About Your Photos, Reimagined
I don't just apply a filter to your photo. I actually import your image into Procreate on my iPad and hand-draw characters and elements directly onto the scene. You get to keep the original background—whether it's a blurry travel shot or a cozy living room—while I add a layer of cartoon-style magic that brings out the story you were trying to capture in that moment.
How the process works
Sab kuch simple hai (Everything is simple). Whether you have a photo from a trek, a family reunion, or just a really good selfie, we start by chatting about the vibe you want. You send me the high-resolution photo, and I work my magic in a few ways:
- Character Overlays: I can draw you and your friends as cartoon characters right into your original photo. This works great for travel shots where you want to emphasize the fun, not just the landscape.
- Stylized Doodles: I can add quirky graphics, doodles, or cyberpunk elements to make a standard photo look like an urban art piece.
What you get
I deliver high-resolution files (300 DPI) that are print-ready for up to A3 size. You will receive PNG or JPEG files, which means you can print them on posters, get them framed, or even use them as personalized wallpapers.
Pricing and Timeline
For a custom photo-based illustration, pricing starts at ₹3500–₹5500 for up to two figures. Because this is a hand-drawn process, it usually takes me about 5 to 7 days to finalize the artwork. I include one round of minor tweaks so we can make sure the colors and character expressions feel just right. If you have a specific idea—like turning a photo into a full-blown cyberpunk scene or a complex pop-art digital painting—we can chat about my 'Custom Concept' packages instead.
