Kids Dance Classes: Building Confidence, Discipline & Fun
I help kids find their rhythm and confidence through a mix of cinematic dance, gymnastics, and traditional values. It is not just about the steps; it is about growing up strong.
Here you can see my students practicing a routine. I focus on clear, step-by-step instruction so every child can keep up and feel successful.
The joy on their faces says it all. My goal is to make every kids dance class feel like a party where they can learn and be themselves.
I often dance right alongside my students to guide them through the choreography. This is a typical practice session, focusing on timing and group coordination.
This video shows a full class learning a fast-paced Bollywood routine. We work on building stamina and memory through repetition and lots of encouragement.
Sometimes the best moments are unplanned. Here are my kiddos just letting loose and enjoying the music and movement.
Teaching choreography from Kannada films is one of my specialties. Here, the kids are learning a fun routine from a popular movie.
A glimpse into our class structure, where students learn and practice in groups. This helps build teamwork and confidence.
About this collection
Parents often ask me if this is just a dance class. It is not. My sessions for kids mix high-energy choreography with basic gymnastics and life skills training. We start every session with a prayer to build discipline, and the class flows into movement that improves their posture and focus. Your child will not just learn steps; they will learn how to carry themselves with confidence, whether on stage or in the classroom.
More Than Just Dance
I believe dance is the best medium for a child’s development. My curriculum follows a specific 60-20-20 rule: 60% cinematic dance choreography (Bollywood, Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu hits), 20% physical agility through basic gymnastics, and 20% life skills and cultural etiquette.
What Your Child Learns
- Foundations & Rhythm: We start from the basics. Whether your child has two left feet or natural rhythm, I break down the moves so nobody feels left behind.
- Discipline & Values: We practice the traditional 'Namaskara' and include short prayers. It grounds the children and teaches them respect for their art and their teachers.
- Stage Confidence: We focus on expressions (Abhinaya) and public speaking. If there is a school performance or a family event, I ensure they are ready to perform without fear.
- Physical Growth: The stretching and floor work we do helps with overall flexibility and posture, which is crucial for kids sitting in classrooms all day.
