A personal collection from my #100daysofsarees challenge, documenting how six yards of fabric became my daily companion for confidence and self-love.

The year has been full of sarees, colors, and joy. This beautiful pink and purple saree was a gift from my staff, which means the world to me. I paired it with a custom-designed V-neck blouse.

Another saree, another story. This beautiful green saree is paired with a custom-designed printed blouse from my studio. Each saree in my collection holds a special memory.

My 50th saree of the challenge had to be special. I wore this for a Women's Day video, feeling radiant and purposeful. The look was completed with a custom blouse I designed.

A fun photo dump from a recent event. I love getting together with my friends and celebrating life, often in sarees and custom outfits.

For this event, I created a co-ord set from a beautiful printed fabric, complete with a matching shrug. It's an example of how I can create modern, comfortable fusion wear.

A candid moment with my girls. We are all wearing different styles, but we share a love for dressing up and celebrating together. I'm wearing a custom Coorgi-style draped saree.

A wild flower with a vintage soul. A moment captured in a beautiful handloom saree, feeling connected to my roots. This is the feeling I hope to give every client.

About this collection

It isn't just about the drape, it is about the fit. Every blouse you see in this diary is built with padded cups, canvas fusing for neck stability, and butter-crepe lining to ensure you stay comfortable all day. If you struggle with blouses that dig into your shoulders or slide off, we should talk about how I can adjust these patterns to your specific measurements.

Growing up, I struggled with body image. When I started Kalasthree, I wanted to change that narrative. My #100daysofsarees challenge was not just a social media trend, it was my way of proving that a saree is the most versatile outfit in any woman's wardrobe. Whether it is a handloom cotton for a workday or a heavy silk for a wedding, the key is the blouse.

My design process is simple. I do not follow generic sizing. I work with you to understand your comfort zones—be it specific necklines, sleeve lengths, or embroidery density. I focus on structural integrity. That means using techniques like double-seam stitching and concealed zippers so your garment actually lasts. I create custom paper patterns based on your body, not standard charts.

Based in Padmanabhanagar, I meet clients across Bengaluru to discuss their vision. We start with a 1-on-1 styling session to sketch the design, ensuring that when you step out, you feel confident. You are not just getting a blouse; you are getting a piece of clothing tailored to support you, not just cover you. Whether you want to recreate a look from my diary or bring an heirloom saree back to life, my studio is open. Come over, let's chat, and nanna kade banni (come to me).

I'm Tejaswini, and for me, a saree is more than just six yards of fabric; it’s my daily dose of confidence. I design custom blouses and style sarees that celebrate your body, flaws and all, because true comfort starts when you stop trying to fit into standard sizes.
