My debut TV commercial for Sensodyne was a great learning experience. The shoot required me to portray the discomfort of tooth sensitivity, a role that needed a subtle and convincing performance for the camera.
About TV Commercials
On a film set, I treat acting much like sangat (accompaniment) in music. I listen closely to the director, anticipate the flow of the scene, and react naturally to the moment. Whether I am delivering lines in Marathi, Hindi, or English, my priority is to fit seamlessly into your campaign vision rather than stand out as a separate performer.
My journey into commercial acting began with a national campaign for Sensodyne. That first shoot taught me that acting, much like playing the tabla, requires discipline and the ability to stay present under pressure. I am comfortable handling the demands of a 10-12 hour shift, including multiple retakes, lighting adjustments, and working closely with directors to get the exact shot required.
I am fluent in Marathi, Hindi, and English. This allows me to perform for both regional and pan-India advertising campaigns without a language barrier. Whether you need a lead character for a story-driven ad or someone to deliver a product testimonial, I bring professional readiness and a quick understanding of the brief.
I understand the logistics behind production. I come camera-ready, grooming-wise, and I am comfortable with improvising within the script to make the performance feel authentic.
