Energetic Kavadi Attam Processions & Roadshows
Experience the raw energy of traditional Kavadi Attam. Whether you need vibrant feathered arches for a daytime Baraat or eye-catching LED Kavadis for night festivals, we bring the rhythm to your streets.
A daytime Kavadi Attam performance in full swing, with our dancers moving energetically over a carpet of yellow flower petals. This shows the color and motion we bring to outdoor college functions and public events.
Our LED Kavadi dancers light up the night during a temple festival procession. The glowing, shifting colors of the Kavadis create a mesmerizing effect that is perfect for evening events and roadshows.
About Kavadi Attam: Energetic Processions & Roadshows
The Kavadi Attam is not just about the arches, it is about the coordination between our dancers and the Chenda drummers. When you book us for a procession, you are getting a two-hour high-intensity show where our performers do not just walk. They spin, leap, and match the exact tempo of the percussionists to keep the crowd hooked throughout the event.
When planning a procession or roadshow, the visuals need to match the time of day. We bring two distinct setups for this reason. For bright, sunny daytime events like Baraats or college processions, we use our classic peacock feather Kavadis which pop against the daylight. For temple festivals or evening roadshows, we switch to our LED-lit Kavadis. These are not just lights. They change patterns and colors, creating a glowing spectacle that cuts through the dark and grabs everyone's attention instantly.
A major part of the performance is the stamina involved. Our Kavadi artists are trained to maintain that rapid spinning and rhythmic stepping for up to two hours. This is why we always pair them with our full Chenda Melam ensemble. The drums provide the heartbeat of the performance, and our dancers move in perfect sync with the beat. It is intense work, but it creates the kind of atmosphere that makes people stop what they are doing and join the procession.
Logistics-wise, we handle everything. We travel from our bases in Chennai and Hyderabad to perform across Andhra, Telangana, Bangalore, and beyond. If you are worried about the scale of the procession, we scale our team. Eight to ten musicians is our standard for maximum volume outdoors, ensuring the energy reaches the back of the crowd even in noisy, open-air settings.
