About Academy Events & Recognition
Our academy plays an active role in the Taekwondo ecosystem beyond the dojo. We host our own championships and serve as technical officials at external events like Transcend Group’s Game On. This ensures students understand the full scale of competition, from technical rules to the intensity of a live ring.
Hosting and participating in championships is central to our training philosophy at Taureaux Taekwondo Academy. When we organize the Taureaux Taekwondo State Open Championship, we do more than provide a platform for athletes. We create an environment where students see how discipline translates into performance.
My experience as an International Referee allows me to guide students through the complexities of competition rules, scoring systems, and judicial standards. When students participate in events like the Game On championship, they do not just compete. They apply the Five S regimen of stamina, speed, strength, skill, and spirit in a real-world setting. This exposure is vital. It prepares them for the pressure of state and national competitions, including the Khelo India Games.
Being recognized by the Karnataka Taekwondo Association and the Taekwondo Federation of India adds a layer of formal validation to our work. Our curriculum follows World Taekwondo standards, meaning that whether we are conducting belt grading exams or officiating at regional tournaments, the goal remains the same. We strive to foster growth, respect, and technical precision in every student, ensuring they are ready to step into the ring with confidence. Students often come to us after trying generic fitness programs, but here they find a structured pathway toward competitive excellence.
