Concept Architecture & Experimental Installations
We believe architecture is more than just building structures. It is an exploration of how light, texture, and silence change our perception of space. This is where we test ideas that challenge conventions.
Our concept for the Jaipur Rugs showroom, 'The Qila.' We envisioned an immersive, cave-like space using water and reflection to create a sensory journey. The goal was to elevate the experience of viewing rugs to that of appreciating art in a museum.
For the Designuru festival, we created an art installation called 'Profile of a City.' Built entirely from scrap metal and other reused materials, the folly created an imaginary cityscape with light and shadow, commenting on urban construction and waste.
About Pushing Boundaries: Concepts & Installations
When we treat a showroom or a temporary installation like a piece of art, we uncover unique techniques—like manipulating water for light reflection or turning scrap metal into shadow-play—that we then apply directly to your home or office renovation. These concepts are our laboratory; they are where we test how far a material can stretch and how a space can breathe before we bring that exact innovation into your daily environment.
For us, the boundary between an art installation and a functional building is porous. We treat both with the same rigor. When we designed 'The Qila' for Jaipur Rugs, we weren't just thinking about shelving units. We conceptualized an immersive, cave-like environment using water and calculated light refraction to create a sensory journey. We wanted visitors to view rugs not as floor coverings, but as art in a museum. That same obsession with 'sensory spatial design' is what we bring to residential renovations when we need to turn a dark room into a naturally lit sanctuary.
Then there is 'Profile of a City,' our award-winning folly created for Designuru. We chose to build this entirely from salvaged metal and fabrication waste, transforming what others call 'construction debris' into a structured shadow-play. It taught us a lesson in adaptive reuse: if you pay enough attention to the material, the waste creates its own aesthetic. We often utilize these lessons in our commercial and residential projects, finding ways to integrate sustainable, raw materials that add character rather than clutter.
We don't believe in separating 'design' from 'art.' Whether you are looking for an interior that feels like a gallery or a workspace that challenges traditional, rigid layouts, we apply this experimental mindset to every project. We want your space to tell a story that is uniquely yours, using architecture to give that story a voice.
