Additional Horrors: Surreal 3D & Dark Cinematic Art
A collection of my standalone dark experiments, from atmospheric creature concepts to surreal, abstract visuals. These pieces explore the unsettling side of 3D, perfect for projects that need a distinct, haunting narrative.
A boat with a single lantern drifts toward a decrepit dock where strange figures wait. This piece is all about building tension and atmosphere, giving the viewer the sense that they are arriving somewhere they shouldn't be.
A figure levitates or crawls across the ceiling of a dark room, framed by a moonlit window. This artwork plays with gravity and perspective to create a disorienting and supernatural horror scene.
A different take on the "Crawl" concept, this time with the figure on the floor, moving frantically down a dark hallway. The motion blur and claustrophobic framing create a sense of panic and pursuit.
A surreal horror concept of disembodied hands clutching giant eyeballs in a wheat field at sunset. This piece moves away from traditional monsters to explore more abstract and unsettling imagery.
A blue figure stands in a lightning storm, its eyes held open by strings like a puppet. This is another piece of surreal art, exploring themes of control and helplessness.
A classic Halloween scene with a sheet ghost and glowing jack-o'-lanterns. This shows my ability to handle seasonal and thematic content with my signature dark and atmospheric style.
Another Halloween piece, this time showing a haunted house at night with shadowy figures lurking outside. It focuses on environmental horror and the feeling of being watched.
Two giant skeletons in a green-lit chamber appear to be playing with a glowing astronaut. This is a sci-fi fantasy piece that combines different genres to create a strange and epic visual.
A retro sci-fi piece of a woman with tentacles emerging from her body, set against a starry background. This shows my versatility in exploring different aesthetics, from cinematic realism to stylized retro-futurism.
Two ghoulish creatures in the wilderness discover a disembodied head. This piece injects a bit of dark humor into the horror, showing a lighter, more bizarre side of my work.
About Additional Horrors
I build these scenes in Blender and Unreal Engine with a focus on lighting that drives the mood. Unlike standard graphic designs, I prioritize camera angles that feel cinematic, like a shot from a thriller movie, so your audience is not just looking at an image, but stepping into a scene.
My process is rooted in storytelling. Whether it is a floating creature or a desolated dock, every render starts with a mood, not just a model. I use Unreal Engine to capture realistic lighting that gives these scenes their grit. This cluster highlights pieces outside my main series, showing how I adapt to different aesthetic demands, from retro sci-fi textures to pure, grotesque character design.
I combine high-resolution modelling with cinematic color grading. If you are a band or label looking for album art that does not look like stock, or social media visualizers that actually stop the scroll, we can build it. I enjoy working with artists who have a specific vision but need technical help to realize it. I offer full 3D album cover sets and animated Spotify Canvases that are optimized for digital streaming platforms.
While these are my own experiments, I am open to commissions. We can discuss your track's themes and create a custom horror environment that fits your brand identity. Let's make something weird.
