Janmashtami Themed Photoshoots for Little Kanhas
Celebrate your baby's first festivals with authentic Janmashtami themed photoshoots. We use traditional elements to create peaceful, cultural portraits in the comfort of your home.
This is our natkhat Gopal, Rudra, whose infectious smile made my day. I love creating these vibrant, playful setups for Janmashtami, capturing the divine and mischievous spirit of Kanha in your little one. It’s a joy to bring these cultural stories to life.
For newborn Kanha shoots, I create a cozy and safe environment. Here is baby Krishiv sleeping peacefully, swaddled in traditional cloth and surrounded by peacock feathers, a little dahi handi by his side. This top-down view creates a beautiful, artistic portrait.
This image shows a closer look at the details from Krishiv's newborn Kanha session. I focus on capturing these serene moments, with the floral crown and gentle swaddle creating a divine and peaceful portrait of your sleeping baby.
Look at this little one's curious eyes. Capturing these awake and playful moments during a newborn shoot is so special. This is baby Krishiv, full of expression during his Kanha-themed session, a perfect example of a newborn's emerging personality.
The toothless smiles and expressive faces of a newborn are just priceless. This collage shows the wonderful range of expressions baby Krishiv gave me during our chat. These candid moments are what make each baby photography session unique and memorable.
About Our Little Kanhas: Janmashtami Celebrations
When we do these themed setups, I prioritize your baby's comfort above everything else. I bring the studio to you, which means we do not rush the process. Whether it is a sleepy pose swaddled in traditional cloth or a curious, awake moment, we take the time for feeding and soothing breaks to keep the experience calm and happy for your little one.
My goal with every Janmashtami shoot is to capture that specific, joyous spirit of Kanha. I handle the styling completely, so you do not have to worry about the logistics. For these sessions, I bring along traditional props like clay pots, flutes, and authentic peacock feathers, alongside traditional outfits for the baby to ensure the look is truly festive.
We typically schedule these sessions at your home, which is easier for both the baby and the parents. The setup is portable, yet professional, creating a backdrop that feels like a small, festive studio right in your living room. We can do these for newborns, focusing on gentle, swaddled portraits, or for older babies who are starting to sit and explore, where we can capture their natural curiosity.
Since I am based in Navi Mumbai and work frequently across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area and Raigad, I am happy to travel to your location. If you have a specific family heirloom or prop you would like to include to make the shoot more personal, please let me know, and I will incorporate it into the frame. The focus remains on capturing genuine smiles and those little expressions that make your child unique, rather than just forcing a pose.
