Golden Hour Family Portraits in Bangalore
Let's skip the stiff poses and head to a Bangalore park. We will chase the soft, golden hour light, play with fun props, and capture your family just being themselves.
The classic family portrait, but make it relaxed and full of love. We found a perfect spot on the grass for this family of four to snuggle up together during their outdoor session.
A playful moment during a family picnic session. Mom gives her little one a kiss while dad and big sister share a cuddle. These are the authentic interactions I love to capture.
A quiet moment with mom and her two girls. The soft, dreamy background of the park adds to the tenderness of this beautiful mother-daughter portrait.
Nothing beats a shoulder ride from dad! This is pure happiness. These are the fun, candid moments that kids will look back on and smile about for years to come.
Lifting her little one up to the sky! This photo is filled with so much joy and love. The warm, golden light of the evening makes this mother-daughter moment even more special.
A sweet embrace between sisters under a canopy of bright pink flowers. Capturing the special bond between siblings is one of my favorite parts of family photography.
Two adorable sisters, dressed in matching outfits, posing by the water's edge. It's so wonderful to see their personalities shine during our outdoor kids' photoshoot.
About this collection
I do not believe in forced smiles or stiff poses. During our outdoor sessions, I am fully prepared to bribe your kids with their favorite treat, like a bit of Fanta or a small snack, just to keep the energy high and the giggles genuine. We are here to play, not to work, so if your little one needs a moment to run around, we will take it.
Why Golden Hour?
The light just before sunset is soft, warm, and flattering on everyone. When we shoot in Bangalore's parks or gardens during this time, we get those dreamy, glowing backgrounds that make portraits feel timeless. It is the perfect environment for families because it removes the pressure of a studio and lets kids be kids.
My Approach to Outdoor Shoots
- Candid over Posed: I want to capture the shoulder rides, the snuggles, and the way your toddler laughs at your bad jokes. We will do a few 'everyone look at the camera' shots, but the rest is about interacting with each other.
- Themed Play: If you want a specific vibe, I bring props like vintage carts, fresh apples, or lemons. These small touches add a narrative to your photos without cluttering the frame.
- Wardrobe Coordination: Before the session, we will chat about what to wear so your family looks cohesive but still reflects your personal style. Think textures, earthy tones, and comfortable clothing that lets you move.
Planning Your Session
Whether we head to a quiet spot in Whitefield or a local park you love, my goal is to make the experience relaxed. We are not rushing. We have two to three hours to explore, play, and take breaks. If the kids get hungry or need a change of pace, we handle it. My editing style stays warm, clean, and true to the moment, ensuring your final gallery feels like a natural extension of your day rather than a stiff production.
Swara Rane
Hi, I am Swara. I have realized that the best photos are not the ones where everyone is looking at the camera, but the ones where everyone is actually having fun. My outdoor sessions are all about creating that space, whether we are in a park in Whitefield or exploring a new corner of the city together.
