About this collection
Many families worry that a studio setting will feel stiff or overly posed, but my goal is the opposite. Whether we are using the simple, bright white backdrop for that minimalist look or setting up the floral arch for something more vibrant, I keep the session moving with play and snuggles. The studio is a controlled, comfortable environment where we do not have to worry about the heat or crowds, allowing us to capture those tiny details—the way a baby holds your finger or the shared giggles—exactly as they are.
In the studio, we are in total control. This allows for an intimacy that is often hard to replicate outdoors. My Whitefield space is set up to be a blank canvas where your family’s personality becomes the color.
Minimalist vs. Themed Setups Some of my families ask for a purely classic, minimalist look—white on white, simple fabrics, and soft, natural light. These photos are timeless and look beautiful in any home decor. Others want a bit of personality, which is where my floral arches, textures, and seasonal props come in. You don't have to choose one or the other; we can mix it up during your session to get both styles.
Why choose studio over outdoor? Bangalore weather is unpredictable, and parks can be crowded. In the studio, the temperature is perfect, there are no outside distractions, and I have all my props and furniture ready to go. It is a slower, more deliberate pace. We take time to change outfits, feed the little ones if needed, and let the kids settle into the space before we even start shooting.
Planning your session Before you step into the studio, we will chat about your wardrobe and the vibe you want. I have a collection of cane chairs, rugs, and baskets that add texture without overwhelming the frame. My editing style remains consistent: warm, clean, and honest. I don't believe in heavy filters that change your skin tone or make you look like a stranger. When you look back at these photos in ten years, I want you to see exactly who you were, right here, right now.
