Hard work, discipline, and a clear path to the mat. Whether you are aiming for state trials or national championships, this is where athletes come to sharpen their skills.

A perfectly timed head kick during a national championship match. This is the level of precision and timing we train for in our advanced kumite sessions, focusing on scoring effectively under WKF rules.

Pure joy and pride. The senior team celebrating a gold medal win after a hard fought team kumite event. This is what happens when dedication meets teamwork.

Explosive power is non-negotiable. Here, one of my athletes works on plyometric box jumps to build the speed and strength needed for competitive kumite. This is a core part of our karate competition fitness program.

This is what we call dedication. An athlete perfecting a jumping high kick during a target practice drill. This exercise develops the flexibility, power, and accuracy essential for advanced sparring techniques.

A quiet moment of guidance with one of my students on the competition mat. My role as a coach extends to providing ringside advice and mental support during the most crucial moments of a match.

As an Asian Karate Federation (AKF) certified judge, I see the sport from every angle. Here I am officiating at the Vipers Open 2024, ensuring fair play and upholding the highest standards of karate.

About Featured

Training here focuses on WKF kumite tactics rather than just basic movements. I use my AKF judging experience to correct your biomechanics, ensuring your technique actually scores points under official tournament rules. If you are looking to refine your sparring efficiency, this is where we start.

Karate is not just about punching and kicking. To reach the national level, you need to understand the scoring logic and manage the intense physical pressure of competition. My sessions are designed for athletes who want to compete, not just for those passing time.

We structure our training around three pillars:

  • Tactical Sparring: We break down WKF rules and point-scoring logic. We review sparring footage to analyze your weaknesses and the opponent's strategy.
  • Conditioning: Strength and stamina are non-negotiable. Our program includes plyometrics and weight training to build the explosive power needed for high-level kumite.
  • Mental Preparation: As a former national team player, I know what happens on the mat during a medal bout. I provide ringside coaching and psychological conditioning to help you stay focused when it matters most.

Whether you are training at 99 Martial Arts Hub in Najafgarh or the SAI Centre in Shillong, the curriculum remains the same: no shortcuts. If you are preparing for SAI selection trials or national-level events, bring your dedication and I will bring the expertise. Safalta mehnat se hi milti hai (Success comes from effort).

I'm Sunil. I spent nine years fighting for India, and now I coach the next generation of champions. My life is half karate discipline and half masti with my family, but on the mat, it is strictly about hard work.
