No shortcuts, no fancy machines. Just squats, deadlifts, and pure mehnat. This is where real strength is built.

Squatting heavy is non-negotiable for building powerful legs and a strong core. I always use a lifting belt and knee sleeves for support during my heaviest sets.

Setting up for a heavy deadlift. I train barefoot to improve my connection with the ground and generate more force. This is pure, raw strength training.

Pushing through a heavy set of incline dumbbell presses. This exercise is crucial for building a powerful upper chest. Having a spotter ensures safety when going for maximum effort.

A montage of my training style. From back rows to heavy squats and deadlifts, my workouts are about intensity and perfect form. This is how we build a body that is as strong as it looks.

Focused on the squat. Even after the main sets, I work on form and depth. Every rep counts towards building a stronger foundation.

A glimpse into a full workout session. It includes everything from dumbbell curls for biceps to explosive movements and heavy back exercises.

Isolating the triceps with cable pushdowns. Building strong triceps is essential for powerful pressing movements and balanced arm development.

Bicep cable curls are great for maintaining constant tension on the muscle. This helps in building that peak and overall arm size.

Loading plates for a heavy set. The process of preparing for a big lift is as mental as it is physical. Focus is everything.

Mehnat jaari hai. Working on chest definition with cable crossovers. This exercise helps in sculpting the chest muscles after heavy compound lifts.

About My Training: Heavy Lifts & Hard Work

Don't just pick up heavy weight and pray. Whether it is a squat or deadlift, I focus on form first. Notice the belt and knee sleeves in these videos—that isn't for show. It is to keep you lifting heavy without ending up with an injury that sets you back for months.

I am a K11 certified coach, but my training philosophy is simple: if you aren't doing compound lifts, you aren't training, you're just moving weights. My sessions are built on the foundational movements—Squats, Deadlifts, and Presses. These exercises recruit the most muscle mass and give you the best return on your time.

Why Heavy Lifts?

When we talk about 'Heavy Lifts', we aren't just trying to ego-lift. We are building functional strength that carries over to your daily life.

  • Squats: These are the king of leg exercises. We work on depth and control, not just counting reps.
  • Deadlifts: The ultimate test of posterior chain strength. We train barefoot or with minimal shoes to improve ground connection and force production.
  • Presses: Whether it is incline dumbbell or overhead, this is how you build a powerful upper body.

My Training Method

I train in-person at my gym in Banaras, where I can physically spot you and correct your form in real-time. If you are training with me, expect me to check your lunch box and your form. If you are training remotely, I demand video evidence of your lifts so I can critique your technique over WhatsApp.

This isn't a place for casual gym-goers looking to take selfies. This is for people who want to put in the work. You show up, you follow the routine, you eat the ghar ka khana (home-cooked food) I prescribe, and you get the results. Baaki sab Mahadev par chhod do.

I’m Sumit. I don't believe in magic pills or fancy gadgets. If you want to get strong, you have to show up, put in the heavy work, and stay disciplined. Mahadev is my guide, but the heavy lifting is entirely on you.
