A peek behind the scenes

When you walk into my studio, you are not stepping into a silent, stiff environment. Whether we are doing a mini-portrait session or a full family shoot, the priority is to keep things relaxed and authentic. I often invite siblings or other family members to jump in because the best photos are the ones where you are actually laughing, not holding your breath waiting for a flash.

Photography is often perceived as a technical or intimidating process, but my goal is to make it feel like a playdate. Based in Andheri East, my studio is stocked with props that change with the season. We have done everything from Harry Potter-themed wizard setups to messy, colorful Holi-inspired shoots.

Why the process matters

• Handling the unpredictable: Kids are rarely perfectly behaved, and that is okay. Some of my favorite images come from the moments when a child gets fussy or bored. Those real expressions carry more personality than any perfectly staged portrait.
• Inclusive sessions: I encourage families to get involved. If your brother wants to try his hand at the camera or you want to include grandparents, we make it work. The studio is a flexible space designed to accommodate these spontaneous dynamics.
• From formal to fun: We balance classic, clean portraits with high-energy thematic shoots. You get the best of both worlds: professional lighting and editing, combined with the fun of dress-up and creative themes.
