Modern Ethnic Campaign Styling
I mix traditional roots with modern silhouettes to help Indian fashion brands tell a fresher story. Here is a look at my recent work creating cohesive, high-impact campaign visuals in Delhi.
For this campaign, I styled an emerald green off-shoulder blouse with dramatic flowing sleeves, paired with satin trousers. The look is a perfect example of modern ethnic fusion, blending traditional embellishment with a contemporary silhouette.
This shot features a heavily beaded emerald green bustier and a draped skirt. I paired it with a delicate diamond necklace to create a look of pure elegance for the brand's campaign.

I styled this periwinkle blue lehenga set which features a cape-style blouse with delicate embroidery. The look is ethereal and modern, set against a minimalist rock formation for dramatic effect.

This look features a beige draped saree with a heavily embellished blouse and a dramatic cape. I added a statement choker to complete this regal and contemporary ethnic outfit.
Here I styled two models in complementary beige and ivory draped sarees. The lighting and poses were directed to create a sense of drama and highlight the intricate embroidery on the blouses.

About Campaign Styling: Modern Ethnic
I don't just dress the model, I engineer the look for the camera. For these modern ethnic campaigns, I focus on heavy pin-and-tuck techniques to ensure the blouse fits like a second skin and the fabric movement, especially with pre-draped sarees, creates clean, dramatic lines under studio lighting.
When I styled the campaign for Label Jade, the challenge was balancing heavy, traditional embroidery with a minimalist, modern backdrop. We needed the clothes to look regal but sharp enough for a contemporary editorial.
My approach to campaign styling in Delhi goes beyond pulling clothes. It is about understanding how the garment behaves under specific lighting. Whether it is a pre-draped saree with a thigh-high slit or a cape-style lehenga, I spend my time on-set adjusting fabric fall and jewelry placement to ensure the silhouette reads perfectly in the frame. This saves time in post-production and keeps the final image looking intentional.
I handle the full scope:
- Concept & Mood: I develop the visual narrative, including color palettes and lighting references, to align with the brand identity.
- On-Set Management: I am hands-on with model posing guidance and micro-adjustments between takes to keep the look pristine.
- Technical Styling: I use industry-standard hardware like fashion tape and clips to secure fits, ensuring the clothing stays perfect through every movement.
My goal is to make the styling look effortless, even when we are dealing with high-volume changeovers or complex fusion silhouettes.
