About this collection

When I teach, I focus on the details that make a drape stay put for hours. For example, my signature 'fluffy pleats' technique isn't just about how you fold the fabric—it's about how you iron and secure the pallu so you can walk, dance, or manage an event without constantly adjusting your saree.

Whether you are draping a heavy silk saree for a wedding or a lightweight cotton for a daily event, the foundation is the same. My approach is 100% hands-on because you cannot learn these nuances just by watching a video. You need to feel the fabric tension and understand the weight of the pleats.

In my Basaveshwar Nagar studio, we go beyond basic draping. We cover ironing hacks, storage techniques like hanger and box folding, and how to select the right inskirt for your body type to achieve a slim, professional silhouette. I also teach 'bridal pre-pleating,' which is a game-changer if you need to get ready in under five minutes.

It does not matter if you have zero experience. I have taught complete beginners, college students, and professionals from all over the country. If you are looking to turn this into a career, my advanced courses include business modules—marketing, pricing, and how to find your first client. Let’s make the saree your most comfortable and confident outfit.

I am Shwetha. To me, a saree is not just fabric—it is a story. I started this academy to help women feel unstoppable in their own skin, and seeing my students gain that same confidence is exactly why I do what I do.
