About My Personal Style & Portfolio
When I teach, I focus on the details that make a drape stay put for hours. For example, my signature 'fluffy pleats' technique isn't just about how you fold the fabric—it's about how you iron and secure the pallu so you can walk, dance, or manage an event without constantly adjusting your saree.
Whether you are draping a heavy silk saree for a wedding or a lightweight cotton for a daily event, the foundation is the same. My approach is 100% hands-on because you cannot learn these nuances just by watching a video. You need to feel the fabric tension and understand the weight of the pleats.
In my Basaveshwar Nagar studio, we go beyond basic draping.
