Modern Indian Interior Designs That Tell Your Story

I believe in making every kona (corner) tell a story. This hand-painted Rajasthani mural in a dining area is a perfect example. It brings a serene, heritage-inspired narrative to everyday meals, blending traditional art with a modern aesthetic.

This is 'The Rasoi', a kitchen I designed to be the true heart of the home. The clean lines, monochrome palette with bold black borders, and smart storage solutions make it both highly functional and beautifully inspiring for everyday cooking and family moments.

I call this the Room of 'Sukoon' (peace). Inspired by the serene palaces of Udaipur, this primary bedroom is a sanctuary. We used soft textures, a calming color palette, and gentle curves in the headboard to create a perfect escape for rest and rejuvenation.

Don't be afraid of bold colors in the bedroom. For this master bedroom, we took a risk with a stunning burgundy red wardrobe, and it became the defining feature of the room. By integrating a cozy bay window seat and using cane detailing, we created a space that is functional, full of personality, and incredibly warm.

Designing a kid's room is about balancing playfulness with practicality. For this little boy who loves animals, we created a fun yet timeless space with a black-and-white animal wallpaper, adjustable study desk, and plenty of open floor for him to play and grow.

This video shows how we transformed a simple entryway into a soulful welcome. The clients wanted their home to reflect their roots, so we designed a hand-painted Saura mural from Orissa, framed by a beautiful wooden arch. It’s a perfect example of how design can tell a personal story from the moment you step inside.
