Your 'rasoi' shouldn't just be functional—it should be the heart of your home. I design modern, modular kitchens that balance smart storage with the warmth of Indian textures.

For a client who loves to cook and entertain, we created a surprise second kitchen. The challenge was the chimney, so we installed an Elica downdraft hood on the island, which retracts and disappears when not in use, keeping the space open and social.

A kitchen splashback is a great opportunity to make a style statement. In this kitchen, we used beautiful picket tiles to add texture and pattern, complementing the sleek grey and wood cabinets.

A small change can make a big impact. In this kitchen transformation, we replaced dark shutters with simple white and fluted glass ones and added a horizontal island to maximize the space.

This kitchen features a beautiful combination of powder blue cabinets and a terrazzo-style backsplash. It’s a great example of how to use color and pattern to create a kitchen with personality.

We designed this dry kitchen for light cooking and family gatherings. It features an 8-seater dining table that doubles as an island, perfect for a client who is a true cooking enthusiast.

About Modern Kitchens, The Heart of the Home

If you love an open-plan kitchen but hate the visual clutter of a chimney, consider a downdraft hood. We recently installed one on an island counter for a client who loves entertaining; it rises when you need it and disappears into the worktop when you don’t, keeping the space social and airy.
