Commercial and Exhibition Design

Commercial spaces are often treated as mere transaction zones, but I design them to be destinations. From retail stores that pull you in to office interiors that set a mood, I focus on the narrative flow of the space.

A video of our 'Frozen' retail project, centered around a massive, custom chandelier. The light fixture, resembling a golden nest, hangs over natural rock formations, creating a powerful statement at the heart of the space.

The foyer of our 'Frozen' retail project features a raw, burnt log of wood used as a bench. This piece introduces an element of nature and raw beauty into a highly polished, modern space, creating an interesting and unexpected contrast.

The 'Zen Garden' spaces in our 'Frozen' retail design. Each area features a unique, obscure object, like this large floor lamp with a thatch shade, designed to create curiosity and conversation.

For the 'Shadows' law office, we created a moody, mysterious, and authoritative atmosphere. The design uses a monochrome palette, clean lines, and custom lighting to reflect the serious nature of the work done within its walls.

A unique identity was given to each room in the 'Shadows' office through a custom light installation. These large, looming fixtures become the highlight of each cabin, visible through the glass partitions.

A large, round writing glass board was designed for this office cabin. It intersects with the wooden wall paneling, maintaining the clean, geometric forms that define the project's aesthetic.

This video, 'A Walk in My Garden', showcases our exhibition design. It features sculptural furniture, unique lighting fixtures, and artistic installations that come together to create a dream-like, immersive environment for visitors.

About this collection

Designing for business requires a balance between aesthetic appeal and functional flow. In my retail work like 'Frozen', I utilized raw, burnt wood benches and custom thatch lighting to transform a simple store into a tactile experience. This is not just about placing furniture; it is about creating a path that encourages visitors to move, linger, and discover the brand story.

When I design a commercial space, I ask what the visitor should feel the moment they step across the threshold. For the 'Shadows' law office, the goal was authority. We used clean geometric lines, monochromatic palettes, and custom lighting to create an atmosphere of mystery and seriousness, reflecting the nature of legal work. This goes beyond standard fit-outs. I pay attention to the lighting installations, the way a desk intersects with a partition, and how materials like stone or cane can break the monotony of a corporate environment. My process starts with understanding the brand identity and the specific movement patterns of the people who will occupy the space. Whether it is an exhibition display or a permanent retail outlet, the principles remain: natural materials, thoughtful lighting, and creating a sense of wonder. I avoid off-the-shelf solutions, opting instead for custom lighting fixtures and sculptural installations that define the character of the room. My work in exhibitions, such as 'A Walk in My Garden', proves that even temporary spaces can feel permanent and grounded. By integrating handcrafted elements into the design, I ensure the space feels human and personal, rather than sterile or mass-produced.
