We transform private grounds into extensions of your living space. From sloped hill-side gardens to riverfront decks, we design landscapes that breathe with your home.

The front yard of the Nilaya Residence is designed to blend regional charm with colonial beauty. A cobblestone pathway leads the eye to a serene Mother Mary statue, creating a contemplative focal point that can be enjoyed from the home's veranda.

This view of the Nilaya Residence showcases the harmonious integration of the home with its one-acre property. The design preserves existing coconut trees and uses the classic columns of the house to frame the landscape, creating a seamless blend of architecture and nature.

To make the steep backyard of the Nilaya Residence accessible, I designed a series of tiered levels connected by stone stairways. This practical solution also creates a visually appealing journey down to intimate seating areas nestled in the lush landscape.

This image shows the use of curved retaining walls and terraced planting to manage the steep slope at Nilaya Residence. Custom-designed bollard lights provide gentle, ambient illumination along the natural walking paths, enhancing the garden's atmosphere at night.

For the Nilaya Residence, I designed expansive party lawns and garden spaces that respect the rich context of Mangalore. The landscape uses lush ferns and natural stone to complement the home's colonial architecture, creating a serene and elegant setting for gatherings.

This video montage of the Nilaya Residence showcases different aspects of the landscape design. It highlights the serene statue, the terraced gardens on the sloped site, and the lush, tropical planting palette that defines this colonial-inspired sanctuary.

The party house at the Pai Residence is designed for hosting sundowners with a view of the river. Adjacent to the main house, it opens directly to the infinity pool and features a dedicated bar counter and spill-over area.

The wooden deck at the Pai Residence features an integrated dining area and steps leading down into the infinity pool. This design allows for a seamless transition between swimming, lounging, and dining, all while enjoying the tranquil river view.

This view of the Pai Residence, a 5000 sq.ft waterfront home, shows the private bedroom deck overlooking the infinity pool and the areca nut plantations beyond. The design prioritizes privacy and a direct connection to the stunning natural surroundings.

The deck area of the Pai Residence, featuring a comfortable outdoor sofa. This space is designed as an extension of the indoor living area, providing a private, open-air lounge with a direct view of the infinity pool and the river.

About Bespoke Residential Sanctuaries

When we approach residential sanctuaries, we prioritize existing topography over heavy grading. Whether we are dealing with a steep slope or a flat plot, we use techniques like tiered retaining walls or cantilevered timber decks to create distinct zones for privacy and entertainment without disrupting the natural drainage or character of your land.
