I bring the same storytelling eye I use for weddings to high-fashion editorials and brand campaigns, where every garment and piece of jewelry has a specific role to play.

A dramatic, high-fashion look for a magazine cover shoot with actress Ritu Varma. I styled her in this incredible tiered metallic gown, creating a powerful and glamorous editorial image.

A behind-the-scenes look at a brand campaign I styled for Diva India. We shot in a beautiful outdoor location, and I chose this stunning royal blue lehenga that moved beautifully on camera.

A jewelry campaign shoot where I styled two models in contrasting lehengas. The soft pink and elegant white outfits provide the perfect canvas to showcase the stunning diamond and gemstone jewelry sets.

Styling for the cover of Varaa Bridal Magazine with the talented Ritu Varma. This look was all about modern glamour, pairing a unique black embroidered dress with a classic convertible for a chic, sophisticated shot.

A soft and romantic look for the Varaa magazine shoot. I styled this beautiful lavender silk saree with a contemporary puff-sleeve blouse and statement pearl jewelry for a modern take on traditional elegance.

Another beautiful look from the Diva India brand campaign. This blush pink sequined lehenga was perfect for the romantic, ethereal vibe of the shoot, especially with the colored smoke effect.

Styling for a multi-sapphire jewelry collection. I chose a delicate pink gown to complement the vibrant pink, orange, and yellow tones in the necklace and earrings, creating a harmonious and beautiful look.

For this jewelry shoot, I paired a stunning ruby and diamond necklace set with a deep maroon gown. The color coordination creates a rich, monochromatic look that feels incredibly luxurious and elegant.

A classic and elegant look for a jewelry campaign. I styled this beautiful pearl and polki necklace set with a simple purple silk saree, allowing the intricate jewelry to be the star of the show.

A dreamy video from the Diva India campaign. The model is wearing a delicate, multi-colored sequin saree that catches the light beautifully, creating a magical and ethereal effect against the mountain backdrop.

About Editorial & Brand Styling

For editorial shoots, my process is entirely different from wedding styling. Instead of focusing on comfort or family dynamics, I prioritize the camera's perspective. Whether it is tiered metallic gowns for a magazine cover or delicate multi-sapphire jewelry for a brand campaign, I select pieces that interact with light and motion, ensuring the final image is striking and tells the specific story the brand needs to communicate.

When I step into an editorial or brand campaign set, the goal is clarity. My role is to bridge the gap between the photographer's vision and the client's brand identity. I look for the narrative in the clothes—how a texture hits the light, how a silhouette behaves on camera, and how accessories can ground a concept.

Take my work with Varaa Bridal Magazine featuring Ritu Varma. We were not just dressing a celebrity; we were building a mood. From a dramatic tiered metallic gown that commanded attention to a soft, romantic lavender silk saree that felt effortless, every choice was about creating a visual texture that translated perfectly in the final print.

For campaigns like Vummidi Bangaru Jewellers, the jewelry is the protagonist. I style models in clean, neutral palettes—think soft pinks or deep maroons—to let the craftsmanship of the diamonds and gemstones pop. It is a delicate balance of styling that highlights the product without overpowering it.

I also love the fast-paced energy of commercial brand shoots, like my work with Diva India. Here, motion is key. I select garments that dance in the wind or capture light during movement, adding a layer of energy to video and still campaigns. Whether it is a high-fashion cover shoot or an intricate product-focused campaign, I approach every project with a clear focus on the visual impact, ensuring the final frames are as compelling as the story behind them.

I am Ekta. When I am not styling weddings, I am obsessed with the art of the visual narrative. I love the puzzle of a photoshoot—bringing together designers, photographers, and jewelry to create a frame that stops people in their tracks.
