About Expressive Charcoal & Pencil Drawings
Charcoal is incredibly rewarding, but it can be messy if you do not control the dust. During our sessions, we focus on the discipline of managing your strokes and understanding the value scale. You will learn how to create deep, dark contrasts and soft, subtle highlights, which are the secrets to making a portrait look lifelike rather than flat.
