Raw Strength Training & Coaching Moments
Training isn't just about grinding out heavy sets, it is about understanding the movement and keeping your mindset sharp. Here is a look at my daily grind at 21 Fitness.
My sense of humor is something you will get to know over time. Here I am teaching a client an exercise I jokingly called "Murjhaya Gulab" (a wilted rose). The real name is Dead Rows, a powerful back exercise.
A few clips from a recent training session. This shows a mix of exercises including overhead presses, decline crunches, and bicep curls. A well rounded routine is key to building a complete physique.
About Additional Work & Training Moments
You might see me joking about an exercise like 'Murjhaya Gulab' (wilted rose), but make no mistake: the Dead Rows we are performing are pure, focused strength training. My sessions at 21 Fitness in Vasant Kunj and GK2 blend serious, compound-heavy lifting with the right amount of levity to keep your mind in the game while we hit your PRs.
A workout isn't just about moving weight from A to B; it's about the connection between your intent and the iron. Whether we are doing overhead presses or working on your biceps, the focus remains on progressive overload and perfect form.
Why the variety in my training? You cannot just do the same thing every day and expect to grow. My coaching incorporates a mix of hypertrophy-focused bodybuilding work and raw strength training. We hit the compound lifts hard—squats, deadlifts, and bench presses—because those build the foundation. Then, we use isolation movements and unconventional variations to target specific muscles and keep the central nervous system fresh.
Training at 21 Fitness (Vasant Kunj & GK2) When you train with me, you aren't just following a chart. You are getting manual feedback. I am there to spot your heavy sets, correct your hip alignment during a deadlift, or adjust your grip on a row. If you are struggling with a slip disc or old injuries, we change the approach—not the intensity. We focus on corrective exercises that build stability around your weak points, allowing you to lift safely without aggravating old issues.
Is it all serious? Mostly, yes. But if you can't laugh while you're grinding through a tough rep, you're missing the point. The 'Murjhaya Gulab' bit is a reminder that training is a long game. You need to enjoy the process, or you won't stick with it. If you are ready to put in the work, I am ready to guide you.
