About this collection
You do not need a steady hand or a fine arts degree to start drawing or doodling. Our workshops are designed for the absolute beginner—we provide the pens, the paper, and the guidance, while you bring the curiosity and the willingness to make a few happy accidents along the way.
Why Drawing and Doodling?

We focus on low-pressure techniques like brush pen calligraphy, zentangle patterns, and freestyle doodling. It is not about creating a gallery-ready masterpiece; it is about the quiet focus that comes when you stop worrying about the result and just enjoy the movement of the pen.
What You Will Explore
Our sessions cover the basics of modern calligraphy, helping you understand how to control pressure to create those elegant thick-and-thin strokes. If you prefer doodling, we guide you through repetitive, meditative patterns that build into complex, beautiful designs. You will leave with your own practice sheets and a piece you created yourself, plus the confidence to keep practicing at home.
The HSR Layout Studio Experience
We host these sessions in our HSR Layout studio, designed to be a comfortable, judgment-free zone. You do not need to bring any materials; we supply everything from high-quality brush pens to specialized calligraphy paper. Whether you are coming alone to find some zen or grabbing a few friends for a relaxed afternoon, our team is there to help you every step of the way.
