About Maternity Journeys with Your First Baby
I don't believe in forced poses or studio props that might make your dog feel stressed. Whether we’re in your living room or a local park, my priority is making sure your pet feels like they are just hanging out with us, which is exactly how we get those genuine, joyful interactions that define a real family.
Including your pet in your maternity session isn't just about having them in the frame; it's about documenting the shift in your family dynamic. My sessions are designed to be low-stress, especially for the animal. I keep things flexible, so if your dog needs a break or just wants to play, we take that time.
I find the best results happen when we keep the environment familiar. If your pet is shy, an in-home shoot allows them to stay in their safe space where they feel confident. If they are full of energy, we can head to a dog-friendly park where they can run around, allowing me to capture those candid moments of you three together. I handle everything from the initial mood board planning to ensuring your pet feels safe and involved during the shoot.
You don't need to worry about them sitting perfectly still or looking at the camera. The messy, candid shots of them sniffing your bump or nuzzling your hand are usually the ones my clients treasure the most. My goal is to capture the anticipation and the love you already have for your baby, with your first baby right by your side.
