Our Students Competing at Mumbai's Top Tech Fests
Real-world stages, real-world skills. Here is a look at our young innovators presenting their custom robotics, drone, and coding projects at Mumbai’s biggest tech festivals.
Here is one of our students presenting his "Solar Sphere" project at VJTI's Technovanza, which was part of the ISRO space exhibition. He explains how satellites could capture solar energy and transmit it to Earth, showcasing a deep understanding of complex concepts.
At Mumbai's Biggest Science & Technology Expo, our students demonstrated a range of projects, including this robotic hand controlled by a laptop. This is the kind of advanced, interactive project that captures the public's imagination.
A student explains his project on preventing industrial accidents to visitors at VJTI's Technovanza. These events provide a platform for our students to apply their knowledge to real-world problems and share their solutions.
Our lead mentor, Chirag, speaks to a news channel at an outdoor expo. He explains our practical, project-based approach and our mission to prepare young students for careers in technology.
Day 2 at Technovanza was a huge success. Our innovators demonstrated their drone and rover projects, explaining their importance for the future to crowds of curious school students and visitors.
A glimpse of our stall at a major outdoor science and technology expo in Mumbai. Our students showcased interactive projects with custom lighting and displays, drawing in large crowds.
The Ignited Minds Expo is our annual flagship event, where our students showcase their best work. This video gives a feel for the scale and excitement of the expo, with colorful stalls and projects on display.
About this collection
When our students step onto the floor at events like IIT Bombay’s Techfest or VJTI’s Technovanza, they aren't just showing off a school project. They are defending their engineering choices against judges and industry professionals. We push them to present at these expos not for the medals, but because explaining your code to a stranger is the fastest way to find the gaps in your own logic.
Why We Don't Just Teach, We Test
Most robotics classes end when the code runs in a simulation. At Science Kidz, that is only the beginning. We believe that if you can't explain your project to a curious visitor, you haven't truly mastered it. By taking our students to events like VJTI's Technovanza, we force them to deal with real-world pressure: battery failures, connectivity issues, and tough questions from scientists.
Projects That Solve Problems
Take a look at the Solar Sphere or the industrial safety projects featured in these photos. These aren't pre-packaged kits assembled from a manual. Our students build these from scratch using Arduino, Python, and custom circuitry.
- Robotics & Drones: From simple rovers to complex drone flight demonstrations, students learn the physics of flight and autonomous navigation.
- AI & Logic: Students design projects like the robotic hand controlled by a laptop, showcasing their ability to bridge software and physical hardware.
Beyond the Classroom
We don't want kids to just be consumers of technology. We want them to be the ones who build it. Whether it is a kid-led demo at an outdoor expo or a capstone presentation, the goal is always the same: building confidence through competence. If you want your child to experience this kind of hands-on pressure and growth, come visit our centers in Tardeo, Kandivali, or Andheri for a trial session.
STEM Art Lab
I'm Chirag, and I started this lab because I was tired of seeing kids just memorize theory. We don't run a classroom; we run an innovation hub for kids who want to build things that actually fly, code, or power the future. If your child isn't afraid to fail and learn, they will fit right in.
